The Ruwaard van Putten hospital was an independent basic hospital for Spijkenisse and the surrounding area. In the meantime, day treatments have been separated from the long-term treatments. Day treatments take place in Spijkenisse. The more complex and long-term treatments have been transferred to the Maasstad hospital and the Ikazia hospital.
